Unsterile piercing equipment and needles can spread serious infection, hepatitis, tetanus, or possibly even HIV.
Ask some friends you might know who have had a piercing. Ask them about their experience, the cost, pain, healing time, etc. Understand that you do not have to pierce your body to belong.
Remember that you are directly involved in decisions that effect your health and body. You can always change your mind or wait if you are not sure. If you decide to have a body piercing, never pierce your own body or let a friend do it because of potential complications. |
